The guidance image above reflects our 99.7% UV Protective acrylic, available as a premium upgrade on most of our frames.
Choosing Your Glazing:
- Premium UV Acrylic: Offers up to 99.7% UV filtration. (Other specialist options, including Artglass and Acryguard brands, are available upon request).
- Standard Acrylic (Styrene): Our budget-friendly option for when UV protection is not required.
- Note: If a listing does not offer a specific choice, we generally use a highly protective option (90%+ UVR). Please check the description or contact us for clarification.
Our Testing & Verification: At Ridanco Displays, we regularly verify our materials using an in-house light transmission testing machine. Can other frame suppliers verify their specs with live evidence? Upon request prior to your order, we are happy to provide timestamped photos or a video of the test results for the exact sheet used during your frame build.
Important Display Limitations: No acrylic or glass sheet will ever fully prevent fading. Light and heat can cause damage even when highly UV protective acrylic is used. Therefore, we can offer no guarantees on fading prevention. You must consider all guidance and display your items responsibly.

With a precise and easy to use rear sleeve system, you can reliably insert your cards from the back of the mount which, when viewed from the front, enhances the appearance of your cards through the beveled apertures of the mount.
All our frames are made in the UK using real, solid wood. Components for common frame sizes are stocked, and other layouts and colours are available on request. We offer various acrylic options (please see listing), from budget styrene to museum grade UV filtering acrylic. UV-filtering acrylic can significantly slow fading and block harmful UV rays.
Care Tip: For optimal preservation, keep displays out of direct sunlight and away from intense heat, as no glazing offers 100% protection against all types of light and heat damage.

Our frame moulding sizes and depths can vary between frame sizes. Each frame is suitable and acceptable respectively and differences are minimal with a very similar brushed black finish. However, if you want absolute consistency across sizes, please contact us for upgrades or downgrades to suit you- noting that some larger frames are not suitable to be made in the smaller mouldings.

All frames are sent considerately packaged, and acrylic sheets will include protective film which should be removed before use. Please take care when opening packages.
