This particular example, is a culmination of our experience making both graded and raw frames, bringing both systems together to achieve a 102 base set frame for the first Pokemon card set. This is of course just a suggestion, as we can accept custom orders if you have your own idea on how to best-display the set.

This frame features 16 apertures on the top row made with foam spacing to hold graded slabs, prepared to suit your choice of grading company (or a mix if requested). Our frames can be prepared to suit any grading company, as we use different foam sizes and mounts to suit your slab type. Below the slabs are 86 apertures with fitted sleeves of the standard size, attached to the mount by super hold tape to safely hold your raw cards in place. The 86 apertures for the raw cards are slightly separated in this design, grouped by Pokemon, Trainers, and then finally energy.

This listed frame size is part of our larger range (39mm wide x 29mm deep solid wood moulding). The frame is black with a brushed finish and is incredibly solid and premium feeling. A matching black mount gives that timeless professional look. The mount has a bevelled white core edge around each void enhancing the appearance of the design. Behind the slabs, the background on this frame is a double sided reversible premium mountboard (black on one side, white on the other) - this means you can have the frame either entirely black, or with white backing behind the slabs, or switch it up whenever you like! Lastly, we recommend selecting the upgrade option for the 99.7% UV protective acrylic, as this is also a solid 3mm thick with good clarity and has an excellent anti-reflective gallery finish. These considerations combined, make for a fantastic quality frame, arguably the best of their kind and at very competitive pricing.

Our moulding sizes vary between frame sizes (we have two ranges, small and large), for example this frame is in our larger range and uses an appropriately chunkier/stronger moulding (39x29mm) than our much smaller slab frames, such as the 1 through 6 slabs frames (22x22mm) which are in our small range. Each frame is suitable and acceptable respectively, and all frames are made from solid wood with a very similar brushed black finish. However, if you want total consistency across sizes, please contact us for upgrades or downgrades to suit you- noting that some larger frames are not suitable to be made in the 22x22mm.
