Here are some frequently asked questions about our MTG Card Frames

Magic The Gathering Card Frames FAQs

What size are MTG Cards?

MTG cards measure 2.5 x 3.5 inches (approximately 63 x 88 mm), which is the standard poker size used for games like Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering. All our raw trading card display frame listings include an option for the 'standard' card size.

There may be some promotional MTG cards which are unique sizes such as jumbo (oversized) cards like Planechase and Archenemy. We can frame those too on request if you tell us the size.

You are welcome to contact us with your card sizes and we will check and provide a custom quote if necessary.

Can you make frames for graded Magic cards (slabs)?

Absolutely we can, and each graded card frame is custom made for the specific size of each grading company, as per your preference.

Will my MTG cards get damaged if displayed?

All of our solutions for displaying cards, whether that is raw cards, graded cards, mag cases or toploader displays are each fully reversible. If you decide to remove the cards from the frame then you can do so without damage.

For raw cards, the MTG cards are simply slid into an attached sleeve - so you just slide the cards out again if you decide to remove or switch them.

Can you make me a custom display for my MTG Cards?

Of course. At Ridanco Displays everything is custom made in our own workshop. Our listings are suggestions, to show what we can do.

You can contact us to request quotes for different colours, printing (and printed mounts) custom layouts, mixed collectibles, and anything else. We will respond with a price and if you want to proceed; a custom link to order.

What about UV damage to my Magic The Gathering cards?

This is a valid concern and we are pleased to say that we offer highly UV protective front sheets as an option for all listings. Including options from brands such as Artglass, Plexiglass, Motheye, and Perspex. Often rated as highly as 99.7% UVR.

Please note that even when using the maximum UV filtering sheet products, care should still be taken to avoid direct or prolonged exposure to sunlight and other types of light damage, as well as heat sources.

Can you make frames for MTG booster packs?

Yes, we can, however rather than ordering with the standard booster pack size please tell us by email or order comment as Magic card boosters are slightly thicker and larger than Pokemon boosters and at the time of writing we have not added the option to the listings.
